State law: on single-family residential property, Florida Statute 163.045 stops the city and the county from demanding a permit or new plantings for a tree that a certified arborist (ISA) or a state-licensed landscape architect has assessed in writing as an unacceptable risk.
Power lines: Tampa Electric (TECO) serves Plant City. Call TECO about any limb on or near a line before you or anyone else touches it.
Yard waste: city pickup is on Wednesdays.
